Terms of Service

By commissioning LunaMoth505 LLC, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

LunaMoth505 LLC is based in the United States and follows U.S. copyright laws and state-specific rules.

LunaMoth505 LLC reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a commission at any time.

The client must maintain professional conduct and comply to the ToS throughout the commission process. Disrespectful or otherwise inappropriate behavior will result in a warning. If the ToS is violated again, the commission will be terminated and the client will be blacklisted.

LunaMoth505 LLC retains the right to use all commissioned artwork in a portfolio, share the artwork in person or online, and may use the commissioned art for advertisements and other monetized or commercial products.

The artwork is done on a US Letter sized canvas at 300 PPI unless stated otherwise. The art is exported as a .PNG when complete. If a specific file type or canvas size/dimension is desired, the client must state what should be used.

The client must make any deadlines clear before payment. Digital art commissions are worked in around the LunaMoth505 LLC market schedule, so some deadlines may require a rush fee.

The client will provide reference materials at the start, but may send more as they are needed.
_{Reference materials CANNOT be AI. They are generally photos from multiple angles, an image of the desired pose, character sheets, and specific detail inspiration images. They may also include Toyhou.se links, unfinished drawings, screenshots, mood boards, face claims, and text descriptions. The goal is to provide a full visual library of the character and all the small details for an accurate depiction.}

The client will recieve several screenshots of the artwork throughout each stage of the process and will be expected to give feedback on each update.

Linework and color are going to be revisited and tweaked as the piece is refined during the lighting phase. Any questions, concerns, or requests need to be brought up immediately. Anything the client wants to stay the same while the work is refined must be pinned down. Include as much detail as possible. Don't sugar coat anything, and feel free to red line the art.

The current hourly is $30 USD. Prices are estimated based on completion time of past work and platform fees.

An estimation will be given for the client's request based on the complexity and subject given. Pricing varies slightly from artwork to artwork.

For commission requests hosted on VGen or Ko-Fi, the price and payments will be displayed and paid through those sites. Requests hosted on VGen are prioritized.

For custom commission inquiries, there will be an initial estimated range given at the start, followed by the total cost calculated at completion. The total is calculated as...

20% of the initial estimate is due as an up-front deposit before work begins.

The client may discuss a payment plan that allows incremental payments for each stage of the artwork. This still requires an up-front deposit but allows for more flexibility.

NDAs for commissioned art incur a 25% fee.

Partial refunds are given in any case where LunaMoth505 LLC is unable to finish the work and must terminate the commission. ( injury, broken equipment, discontinued materials)

Early cancellation is allowed; but once a payment is made and work has begun, LunaMoth505 LLC cannot refund it.

Full refunds are only given if the artwork has not been started when the commission is canceled.
